Skill Development is for determining the skill gaps and overcoming them. Skills are required to define one’s ability and this ability is the sole reason behind the successful implementation of plans.

Low skills perpetuate poverty and inequality. When done right, skills development can reduce un- and underemployment, increase productivity, and improve standards of living. Helping people develop and update their skills makes economic sense.

Further, we can discuss the need for skill development in developing countries like India and many more in APAC and the African region. The economic reason for having the skilled workforce may be different and so will be the level and types of skill required in a region may be different however no Government, policymakers, and Thought leaders will ever refuse or underplay the need of having best industry and job-ready skills in the country or region.
